Dynamic Communication Can Improve Health and Ageing Research
December 16th, 2009
The WA Centre for Health and Ageing will begin its weekly health and ageing informational sessions on Wednesday 3rd February 2010.
Dr Andrew Ford, WACHA's Senior Investigator and Psychiatrist will kick off the session with a controversial topic titled 'Mild cognitive impairment or mild misunderstanding of what is going on?'
Presentations are open to researchers, health professional and health science students and will take place each Wednesday from 1pm to 2pm in the WACHA Seminar Room on the Ground Floor in Ainslie House, Royal Perth Hospital.
"There has been so much interest in the work that we conduct at the WA Centre for Health and Ageing; we wanted to develop these seminars as a platform to introduce our research team and work," says Professor Osvaldo Almeida, Research Direct WA Centre for Health and Ageing.
Researchers will showcase thought provoking topics. An opportunity for questions and discussion will follow the presentation.
Details of the Lunchtime Seminar Series can be found in the seminar flyer [
