Professor Konrad Jamrozik

Professor Konrad Jamrozik undertook his medical training in Australia and completed a doctorate in epidemiology at Oxford. Following a Lectureship in Community Medicine at the University of Papua New Guinea, he moved to Western Australia in mid-1984 as a research fellow in clinical epidemiology. He subsequently held lectureships in medicine and in public health at UWA and was promoted to Professor of Public Health there early in 2000. From December 2000 until September 2004 he held the chair in Primary Care Epidemiology at Imperial College, London. He is currently Professor of Evidence-based Health Care at the University of Queensland.
